German Cockroach Pest Control
The most common of all indoor roaches is the German Cockroach. Prodigious breeding has vaulted the German roach to the top of the pest list of these species. Increasingly gastrointestinal diseases are associated with human exposure to cockroach populations; allergies have also been proven to be aggravated by secretions from the cockroach. As many as thirty-two eggs are in every German Cockroach egg sac and females drop one sac each two months or so. Ability to breed is the greatest weapon of the German Cockroach as in doing so frequently resistance to chemicals has been developed over generations. It is also a well known fact that German Cockroaches spread quickly in multi-unit dwellings and large industrial buildings making treatment a challenge.
Fortunately, advances in science and pest management products have reduced our environmental footprint by alleviating the necessity of treating German Cockroaches with toxic chemicals. The advent of “gel” products is more effective, completely safe for humans and requires far less preparation, but applications must be thorough and complete. All-Pest Control was among the first pest management firms to begin the treatment of German Cockroaches in the Hamilton – Burlington area more than 15-years ago.
